Water Street South - Henderson, NV

The Henderson Water Street South development project is a 61,000 square foot, 2-story mixed use development located on 3.5 acres in downtown Henderson. In cooperation with the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency, this project was developed and is operated by SH Architecture, Simmons Consulting Group, and Clark County Credit Union. The project is being constructed in two phases, with the first phase consisting of 30,400 square feet of office space and retail shops. The phasing of this project is one of the critical factors in insuring success for the entire development. The Water Street South development has played an important role in establishing g a market in Downtown Henderson and setting the standard for future developments.

Water Street South was the first project completed under the redevelopment guidelines. The building is sited directly on the corner of Water Street and Basic Road to enhance the urban fabric. A large pedestrial plaza at the corner links parking to the street, connects the two legs of the building and serves as outdoor dining for the street level coffee house, It's a Grind!

In 2006, Water Street South recieved the Economic Development Impact Award.
